Thank you for participating in this study, “Reading TEKS,” the purpose of which is to assess selected middle school English teachers' self-perceived importance and frequencies for teaching TEKS-based Reading. This study will involve 200 Texas middle school English teachers in Region 16, who are over 18 years of age. The survey will take 10 minutes to complete. Do not add your name or other identifying data to the survey.
Please note the following characteristics of this study:
- your participation is voluntary;
- your identity will remain anonymous;
- the IP address of your computer will not be recorded;
- you can elect to withdraw at any time without penalty;
- there are no positive or negative benefits from responding to this survey;
- there is no compensation;
- the survey will be used for research;
- the results will be printed and kept for 12 months in a locked file and then destroyed; and
- the data obtained from the survey may be published.
